Thin films of Nd : YAG and Nd : Glass were prepared on Si (100) substrate by pulsed laser deposition technology. The morphology of film surface and cross section, composition, absorption spectrum and photoluminescence (PL) spectra of films were investigated by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR), optical parametric oscillator(OPO) and grating spectrometer. The results show that both Nd : YAG films and Nd : Glass films grown on the substrates at room temperature are amorphous. Nd : YAG films grown by PLD contain Nd element with 0. 15 at. % stoichiometric proportion. The absorption spectrum of bulk Nd : YAG target rather than deposited films exhibit two absorption peaks at 750 and 808 nm. There are no evident peaks in the photoluminescence spectra curve of Nd : YAG films. However, the photoluminescence spectra of Nd : Glass films with two sharp peaks at the wavelength of 877 and 1 064 nm are observed. It indicates that Nd is doped into glass host as optically active Nd3+ ions when Nd : Glass films grow at room temperature. But for Nd : YAG films, Nd don't incorporate into YAG host as Nd3+ ions.  相似文献

Atmosphere pressure uniform plasma has the broad application prospect in the industrial field. Using hollow needle cathode - plate anode device excited by direct-current voltage, a uniform and stable glow discharge is generated at atmospheric pressure in ambient air with argon used as working gas. The influence of the experimental parameters (including gas flow rate and the gas gap width) on discharge has been investigated by optical method. It can be found that a glow-discharge plasma column can bridge the two electrodes. The plasma column is uniform, and no filaments can be discerned. Near the plate electrode, the diameter of the plasma column is largest of all positions. The maximal diameter of the plasma column increases with increasing the discharge current or the gas flow rate. Through electrical method, the voltage-current characteristic has been investigated. It has been found that the discharge voltage decreases with increasing the current which is similar with the characteristic of glow discharge in low pressure. It increases with increasing the gas gap width or the gas flow rate. By analyzing the optical emission spectrum scanning from 330 to 450 nm emitted from the direct-current glow discharge, the molecular vibrational temperature and the intensity ratio of spectral lines I-391.4/I-337.1 have been investigated as functions of the gas flow rate and gas gap width. Results indicate that both the vibrational temperature and the intensity ratio of spectral lines I-391.4/I-337.1 decrease with increasing the gas flow rate or the gas gap width. In addition, the molecular vibrational temperature and the intensity ratio of spectral lines I-391.4/I-337.1 have been investigated in spatial resolution along the direction of gas flow(plasma column axial), and give a qualitative analysis as well. It is found that the vibrational temperature and the average electron energy increase with increasing the distance from the hollow needle cathode. These results are important to the industrial applications of glow discharge.  相似文献

This paper reports the results of a study on temperature inhomogeneities conducted on a thermal plume by using ultrasound scattering as a non-intrusive measurement technique. The plume rises from a metallic disk which can be heated up to 800 °C. The working fluid is air at atmospheric pressure. In the measurement technique, an incoming ultrasound wave is emitted towards the thermal plume. The incident wave is scattered because of non-linear couplings with the flow instabilities present in the measurement region. The scattered wave carries information about those flow instabilities. The technique allows for the retrieving of this information. The shape of the obtained spectrum of temperature fluctuations as a function of wave vector modulus is consistent with previous theoretical analysis. Three qualitatively different regions were identified: first, a production region characterized by a q2 law; secondly, a region with behavior as per q−3 associated with a buoyancy region and; finally, a dissipation region associated with a q−7 law. These spectral regions characterize the energy transfers mechanisms among the length scales of flow investigated here. A coefficient of anisotropy γ was defined to analyze anisotropic features of the flow.  相似文献

The significance of experimental research on flame spectra of methane-coal dust explosions is explained. Weak explosions of methane-coal dust-air mixtures were carried out in a large-scale tube of Ø 200 cm×2900cm with one end open, and the absolute radiation intensities as well as their variation under different conditions for characteristic wavelengths of 0.8875, 1.000, 1.505, 2.801, and 4.346μm were obtained by using small angle of view and a multichannel detector developed by us. The experimental results are discussed and compared with those published abroad. Based on the absolute radiation intensity measured at wavelength 4.346μm and the selected blackbody radiation model, the temperature of explosion flame was determined. The results obtained are not only of great practical importance to the industry but may also be used in the study of flame and chemical kinetics.  相似文献

A numerical method to estimate spectral properties of nonlinear oscillators with random input is presented. The stationary system response is expanded into a trigonometric Fourier series. A set of nonlinear algebraic equations, solved by Newtons method, leads to the determination of the unknown Fourier series coefficients of single samples of the response process. For cubic polynomial nonlinearities, closed-form expressions are used to find the nonlinear terms at each step of the solution scheme. Further, a simple procedure yields an approximation of an arbitrary nonlinearity by a cubic polynomial. Power spectral density estimates for the response process are constructed by averaging the square modulus of the computed Fourier coefficients over various samples or by means of well-established smoothing techniques of spectral analysis. Two applications are presented illustrating the effectiveness of the method as compared to statistical linearization and digital Monte-Carlo simulation.  相似文献

An analysis of nonequilibrium phenomena behind a plane shock is presented concerning the vibrational relaxation and the dissociation of a pure diatomic gas. In the first part, the temperature range is 600 K–2500 K and the dissociation processes are neglected. The population of each vibrational level is computed by solving relaxation and conservation equations. The relaxation process is described by the master equations of each vibrational level. The vibrational transition probabilities appearing in the relaxation equations are calculated analytically and take into account the anharmonicity of molecular vibration and the potential angular dependence. The populations obtained are compared to those calculated using a Treanor model and to those calculated with a nonequilibrium Boltzmann distribution. For moderately high levels significant differences may be observed. The importance of the V-V process is found to be weak for the transitions involving the lowest levels. In the second part, the temperature range is 2500 K–5500K and the dissociation process is taken into account as well as the gas dynamic behavior which did not appear in several recent works. The kinetic equations are transformed to obtain a first order differential system and the resolution of such a system coupled with the conservation equations leads to the population of each vibrational level. The vibrational transition probabilities associated with the atom-molecule interaction are deduced from the cross section calculation used in the first part. The bound-free transition probabilities are obtained, following Marrone and Treanor, assuming that dissociation must occur preferentially from the higher vibrational states: the Marrone and Treanor probability model is extended and employed with an anharmonic oscillator. In the present investigation, behind the shock wave, the evolution of the population distribution expressed as a function of the distance is not monotonous: a lag time appears as shown experimentally in previous works for the macroscopic parameters. For moderately high levels the influence of the anharmonicity and those of the V-V processes appear significant and strongly related. In a general way, in both temperature ranges investigated, the V-V processes reduce the effects of the T-V transfer. Finally the influence of thecharacteristic probability temperature U of Marrone and Treanor is analyzed and a method of determination of local varying U is proposed.  相似文献

A novel technique which uses a microfabricated shock target array assembly is described, where the passage of a shock front through a thin (0.5μm) polycrystalline layer and the subsequent unloading process is monitored in real time with ultrafast coherent Raman spectroscopy. Using a high repetition rate laser shock generation technique, high resolution, coherent Raman spectra are obtained in shocked anthracene and in a high explosive material, NTO, with time resolution of ∼ 50 ps. Spectroscopic measurements are presented which yield the shock pressure (up to 5 GPa), the shock velocity (∼ 4 km/s), the shock front risetime (t r < 25 ps), and the temperature (∼ 400°C). A brief discussion is presented, how this new technique can be used to determine the Hugoniot, the equation of state, the entropy increase across the shock front, and monitor shock induced chemical reactions in real time. A combined spectroscopic and TD-DFT case study was performed, to identify a robust method to calculate the complex near UV/Vis absorption spectra of various amino- vs. nitro-substituted 2,4-diphenylquinolines, which vary strongly under neutral and successively acidic conditions. For this, different DFT functionals were tested for geometry optimization and the TD part to calculate the neutral and different protonated species in a fast screening approach, i. e. using single point calculations in an implicit solvent. Offset-corrected M06HF, hitherto only applied to polymers, was identified as a suitable method to reproduce the absorption spectra in a reasonable fashion for all different substitution pattern and all different protonated species at different pH values; moreover, the method properly predicts the energetic ordering of low-lying n-π* and ππ* transitions, which is decisive for the non-/emissive nature of the different compounds. In all, this might provide a valuable tool for computer-aided design of related classes of compounds.  相似文献
